FAIRMONT, WV – Edinboro collected a clean sweep at Fairmont State on Sunday, winning 9-0 over the Fighting Falcons in Fairmont, WV. Edinboro, the 5
th ranked squad in the Atlantic Region according to the Intercollegiate Tennis Association, is now 12-4 on the season while Fairmont State falls to 0-4.
Amir Talab and
Colin Bandell got the match started with an 8-1 doubles victory.
James Cooper and
Brandon Romain beat Seven Ware and Noah Weber 8-2 before
Kody Duncan and
Kevin Caldwell made it 3-0 in favor of Edinboro with an 8-4 victory in the third doubles match.
Bandell and Cooper each won 8-0 in singles competition, while Caldwell, Duncan, and Romain each were victorious 8-1. Talab brought home an 8-2 win.
