Kevin Caldwell was the lone Fighting Scot to record a victory Friday evening as visiting Roberts Wesleyan downed Edinboro 8-1 at the Westwood Racquet Club in Erie.
Caldwell defeated Beka Buchukuri 6-1, 6-0 in the first match of singles competition. With the win, Caldwell improves to 5-4 on the season, including a 4-1 mark out of the first position.
