Kody Duncan were all double winners for Edinboro as the Fighting Scots downed the Huskies of Bloomsburg 7-2 in tennis action Saturday afternoon at Bloomsburg.
The Fighting Scots (13-5, 1-1 PSAC) entered the match as the fifth-ranked team in the Atlantic region by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association, and the sixth-ranked team in the Atlantic region by NCAA.com.
Romain and Cooper teamed up for Edinboro's first victory of the day, a 8-1 decision in doubles action.
Kevin Caldwell and
Kody Duncan followed with a victory by the same score, 8-1 to put the Scots up 2-1.
Amir Talab (6-0, 6-2), Duncan (6-3, 6-3),
Colin Bandell (6-0, 6-3), Romain (6-0, 6-0), and Cooper (6-0, 6-0) each nabbed singles victories for Edinboro.
Edinboro returns home to for the remaining matches of the season, starting April 9 against Mercyhurst.
