Edinboro Drops Regional Matchup at Charleston (WV), 6-3

CHARLESTON, WV (March 29, 2014) – The Fighting Scot men's tennis team fell by a score of 6-3 on Saturday night against Atlantic Regional foe Charleston (WV). Edinboro sits fourth in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association's Atlantic Regional Rankings, while the Golden Eagles rank fourth. The Fighting Scots moves to 8-8 on the season, while the Charleston improved to 9-5.

Juan Estepa boosted his record to 8-5 in singles play with a 7-5, 6-4 triumph at no. 3 singles over Dennis Okoth.
Amir Talab improved to 13-6 in singles competition on the season with a 2-6, 6-2, 10-8 victory over Nicholas Bakos at no. 5 singles.

Estepa and doubles partner Matias Aignasse picked up an 8-6 win over Dennis Okoth and James Gammell at no. 1 doubles.

Edinboro returns to action on Wednesday, April 2nd, when the Fighting Scots hot Shepherd at 3 p.m.
