NORTH CANTON, Ohio (September 23, 2014) – The Edinboro men's tennis team opened the 2014-15 campaign by falling 7-2 at Walsh on Tuesday afternoon in North Canton, Ohio. The Fighting Scots moved to 0-2 on the season while the Cavaliers improved to 3-0 with the win.
Bruno Borja earned a victory at No. 2 singles by way of tiebreaker 6-4, 6-7, 1-0 (10-4) over Ross Whittaker.
Anmol Sandhu picked up his first win as a Fighting Scot by a score of 6-3, 6-2 over Rodrigo Garcia at No. 6 singles.
Edinboro returns to action at the United States Tennis Association/Intercollegiate Tennis Association Singles and Doubles Championship on Friday, September 26 in Erie, Pa.
