ERIE, Pa. (March 22, 2015) – The Edinboro men's tennis team posted a 9-0 sweep over Millersville to open Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference play on Saturday night at the Westwood Racquet Club in Erie, Pa. The Fighting Scots improved to 7-5 overall and 1-0 in PSAC action, while the Marauders fell to 0-7 and 0-1, respectively.
The Fighting Scots, who sit sixth in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Atlantic Regional Rankings, swept an opponent for the first time since topping Daemen 9-0 on April 14, 2014.
Vitor Albanese won his fourth straight match in singles play with a 6-2, 6-2 victory at No. 1 singles.

Daniel Galimany and
Brandon Romain each won their third consecutive singles matches on Saturday night.
Aignasse, ranked eighth in the latest ITA Atlantic Regional Singles Rankings, won by scores of 6-0, 6-2 at the No. 2 slot.
Galimany improved to 7-4 on the season with a 6-2, 6-2 triumph at No. 5 singles, while Romain boosted his record to 6-3 after a 6-1, 6-2 win at the No. 6 singles position.
The duo of Albanese and Romain, the seventh-ranked doubles tandem in the region, earned an 8-6 victory at the top doubles slot to improve to 7-3 on the season.
Edinboro is back in action on Sunday, hosting West Chester in a PSAC contest at the Westwood Racquet Club in Erie, Pa. at 11 a.m.
