EDINBORO, Pa. (February 11, 2016) – The Edinboro University men's tennis team will kick off it's spring portion of their schedule on Friday, February 12, hosting Fairmont State. The Fighting Scots are in search of its third consecutive PSAC Championship.
After completing the fall portion of the 2015-16 schedule 3-0, the Fighting Scots were ranked fourth in Atlantic Regional rankings by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA). West Liberty took the top spot.
Edinboro boasts a pair of singles players ranked by ITA, as well. Sophomore
Vitor Albanese is ranked second, while fellow sophomore
Daniel Fernandez comes in at 11
th. The Fighting Scots also feature a pair of ranked doubles teams in the top ten. The duo of Albanese and freshman
Kevin Mboko rank fourth, while Fernandez and
Mateus Santos were picked eighth.

Lee Underwood has assembled a challenging spring schedule for his Fighting Scots that features 11 matchups with ITA ranked opponents.
