ERIE, Pa. (March 20, 2016) – The Edinboro University men's tennis team continued its PSAC season with a 7-2 win over Bloomsburg on Sunday afternoon. The win is the fourth in the past five matches for the Fighting Scots, who improved to 12-2 overall and 2-0 in conference play. The Huskies dropped to 2-6 overall and 0-2 in the PSAC with the loss.
 
Vitor Albanese improved to 20-2 on the season in single matches, defeating Bloomsburg's Pablo Herrero by identical scores of 6-2. Daniel Fernandez (14-2) and Mateus Santos (14-4) both picked up their 14^th singles win, tied for second on the team. Fernandez took down Gilberto Machado while Santos scored a victory over Scott Langenbach.
 
Fernandez and Santos also combined for their team-leading 13th win in doubles matches, improving to 13-5 on the year. The duo defeated the Bloomsburg pairing of Nenyi Micah and Gerard Puig, 8-3.
 
The Fighting Scots will return to action on Friday, March 25, heading to West Liberty for a match scheduled to start at 2 p.m.
