MILLERSVILLE, Pa. – The Edinboro men's tennis team remained undefeated in PSAC play after picking up a 9-0 sweep over Millersville on the road. The Fighting Scots concluded the team portion of their fall season. Seniors Vitor Albanese and Daniel Fernandez will play at the ITA Nationals next week in Rome, Ga. by virtue of winning the 2017 Atlantic Regional Singles (Albanese) and Doubles (Albanese/Fernandez).

Edinboro had very little trouble in doubles as the Fighting Scots swept through all three matches. Albanese and Fernandez took down the number one duo from the Marauders Peter Lanis and Jose Alcazar, 8-4. Mauricio Santos and Mateus Santos made quick work of Ben Fellman and Christian Akerley, 8-2. But it was Kevin Mboko and Thomas McCoy that finished first with an 8-1 win over Calvin Athey and Brandon Miller.

Singles proved to be much of the same as no Scot gave up more than five total games in their straight sets wins. #40 Albanese picked up his 11^th straight win on the season, 6-3, 6-0, over Landis. Mauricio Santos double-bageled Fellman at the number three spot, 6-0, 6-0.

Edinboro takes a break until the spring portion of the season on Saturday, February 3 against Walsh. Match time is scheduled for 4:00 p.m.
