The Fighting Scots made the podium for the first time at Nationals with a third place showing three years ago, and in 2014 they were fifth. He has produced three national champions and 38 All-Americans. All told, Flynn has been named the EWL Coach of the Year seven times and the PSAC Coach of the Year 14 times.
