BLOOMSBURG, Pa. --
Mateus Santos led the way for the Edinboro men's tennis team this past weekend at the PSAC Singles & Doubles Championships. The senior made his way to the finals of singles and teamed up with
Mauricio Santos to make the semifinals of doubles.
Mateus looked to extend Edinboro's streak of three straight PSAC Singles titles after
Vitor Albanese became the first player in PSAC history to win three-straight titles. It was an almost all-Edinboro final as Mauricio made the semifinals in singles before falling to eventual champion Cormac McCooey of Mercyhurst. Freshman
Julius Schulte won his first round match before falling to McCooey in the quarterfinals
The Fighting Scots are off until February when they host on Saturday, February 2nd at the Westwood Racquet Club in Erie. Match time is set for 2 p.m.
