Box Score (New/Sortable Format) ERIE, Pa. -- The Edinboro men's tennis team fell in their home opener, 9-0, to visiting Hillsdale. The match was played indoors at the Westwood Racquet Club in Erie.
The Fighting Scots dropped all three doubles to start the match.
Vitor Albanese and
Christian Roettger fell at the top doubles match, 8-6, while
Daniel Fernandez and
Kevin Mboko went extra games in their 9-7 loss at number two doubles.
Singles didn't fair much better for Edinboro as the Chargers swept through on their way to the win. Fernandez went to a tiebreaker at number two singles before dropped his match in straight sets.
There won't be much turn around time as the Fighting Scots will host Daemon on Sunday, February 25. The match starts at 2:00 p.m. at Westwood Racquet Club.
