Box Score (New/Sortable Format) ERIE, Pa. -- The Edinboro men's tennis team won its second PSAC match in two days after a 7-2 win over Kutztown at the Westwood Racquet Club in Erie. The win keeps the Fighting Scots undefeated in PSAC play with a 8-6 overall and 4-0 record in conference. The Golden Bears dropped their first match of the spring portion of the season and move to 4-2, 0-1 in the PSAC.
The Fighting Scots swept through doubles over the Kutztown with
Vitor Albanese and
Mateus Santos winning without dropping a game, 8-0, at the top doubles spot. Less than five minutes after doubles, singles got underway. The quick turnaround did not seem to bother Albanese, the 3x defending PSAC singles champion, with a 6-1, 6-0 win at the number one over Martin Munoz. Both Maruicio Santos and
Daniel Fernandez finished within three minutes of each other, both dropping only two games in their straight-set victories.
