Fighting Scots Compete in YSU College Invite

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – The Edinboro women's indoor track & field team competed in the YSU College Invite at the Watson and Tressel Training Site (WATTS) on Friday.

Facing a large field that included numerous Division I competitors, the Fighting Scots turned in a number of strong showings. Most noteworthy was a 12^th place showing in a field of 38 runners in the 5,000-meter run by sophomore Tori Klimowicz. She posted a time of 19:13.00. Teammate Caitlin Caltagirone, a freshman, was 16^th at 19:51.92.

Audrey MacPherson captured 18^th place in the 3,000-meter run with a time of 10:54.16. In the shot put, freshman Savannah Wheeler took home 15^th place out of 55 competitors with a mark of 11.32m.
