INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – An Edinboro women's track athlete has been selected to compete at the NCAA Division II Indoor Track & Field National Championships.  Stefanie Parsons has qualified in the one-mile run for the second straight year.

Parsons, a sophomore from Acton, Ontario, finished 15^th a year ago in the one-mile run. She has enjoyed an outstanding indoor season, qualifying for Nationals in both her freshman and sophomore seasons. She only competed in the recent PSAC Indoor Track & Field Championships in the 3,000-meter run, and crossed the finish line first with a time of 10:03.98.
 
She posted her qualifying time at the GVSU Big Meet. In the one-mile run she finished with a time of 4:48.51, good for fifth in the country.
 
The NCAA Division II Indoor National Championships will take place on Friday, March 8 through Saturday, March 9 at Pittsburg State in Pittsburg, Kansas.
