Fighting Scots Shutout Chowan University

Box Score (New/Sortable Format) HILTON HEAD ISLAND, S.C. – The Edinboro men's tennis team had a strong performance against Chowan University defeating them 7-0. The Fighting Scots have now won two matches in a row and are now 7-2 in the season while Chowan is 1-5.

Edinboro won all three doubles matches to take a 1-0 lead over Chowan before heading into the singles matches.

The Fighting Scots continued their strong performance to win all six singles matches. Nils Plutat started off the singles match by defeating Santino Jose Sormani with scores of 6-4, 7-6. Kaio Sacchi and Chia Chun Chiang won their matches with scores of 6-0, 6-0.

Edinboro returns to action on March 11 in Hilton Head Island, S.C. facing Salem University.
