Fighting Scots improve to 9-2 After Spring trip

Box Score (New/Sortable Format) Hilton Head Island, S.C. – The Edinboro men's tennis team concluded their spring trip today by defeating University of Missouri- St. Louis 4-2. The Fighting Scots went 4-1 on their spring trip. They are now 9-2 on the season while University of Missouri- St. Louis dropped to 5-1.

University of Missouri- St. Louis would take a 1-0 lead with wins in the second and third doubles match. Plutat and Hsu won the number one doubles match 6-3 over Monteiro and Heinrichs.

The Fighting Scots would win four out of the six singles matches. The number six singles match went unfinished. Tommy Hsu defeated Victor Monteiro in a close three-set match with scores of 6-3, 3-6, 10-3. Kaio Sacchi would also win in a three-set match with scores of 1-6, 6-4, 10-8 against Karl Heinrichs. Bruno Sabio Sbeghen and Ruben Acuna would win the final two points for the Fighting Scots.

Due to the coronavirus, the rest of the men's tennis schedule has been canceled.
