EDINBORO, Pa. – The Edinboro Wheelchair Basketball program has added six recruits between the 2020 and 2021 recruiting classes.
While the newcomers for the 2020-21 school year have not had the opportunity to play a game yet, they are looking forward to the opportunity and will still keep first-year eligibility for the 2021-22 school year.
Class of 2020 Signings
Jeremy Evans hails from Boston, Massachusetts and holds a bachelor's degree in bioengineering. He will be studying for a masters of business administration at Edinboro. He played high school hoops for Foxboro Regional Charter and transitioned to wheelchair basketball as a member of the Rollin' Celtics. Evans believes his strongest attribute he will bring to the program is his leadership skills and his ability to motivate his teammates.

Gabe Warsing is a native of Andover, Ohio and played previously for the ACC Cavaliers. In his first ever wheelchair basketball game, he hit a game winning three-pointer which he lists as his favorite memory from the sport to date.

Class of 2021 Signings
Â
Daniel Carter will be joining the program next school year and is a native of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He has been playing the game of basketball for the last eight years and intends to major in business administration. He played at the junior level for Katie's Komets and hopes to one day play for the United States National Team.

Elijah Yoder is a native of Apple Creek, Ohio who played previously for the ACC Cavaliers. He was a member of the first junior national win in program history for the Cavaliers and has his sights on the U23 National Team in the future.

Jack Brown is from Seattle, Washington and played previously from the Seattle Junior Sonics. At Edinboro, he intends to major in graphic design. He chose to become a Fighting Scot because they give people an equal chance, introduced a welcoming environment, and have great coaches.

Jonathan Suszkiewicz is from the Motor City otherwise known as Detroit Michigan and played his junior ball for the Motor City Wheelz. He previously attended camps at Edinboro which introduced him to Coach Glatch. The strength of his game is his speed which he uses to put him in the right positions on the court. His favorite basketball memory includes coming in second place in the NIT Junior Championships.

While Edinboro did not have a season for the 2020-21 school year, they will be playing in the 2021-2022 school year and will feature a roster with a blend of college level experience paired with youth and eagerness to experience the college game.

"We look forward to playing later this year," said Edinboro Head Wheelchair Basketball Coach Jim Glatch. We have some excellent recruits and great players coming back. I think we will have a strong team and a great season."
