Champaign, Ill. – The Edinboro wheelchair basketball team begins play at the National Intercollegiate Wheelchair Basketball Tournament on Wednesday.
 
The Game
The Scots hold the eighth seed and will open against the ninth-seeded City University of New York. Tip off is set for 4 p.m. on Wednesday. Fans can watch live here.
 
With a win, Edinboro will advance to take on top seeded Arizona at 10 a.m. on Thursday.
 
By the Numbers
James Pollard has led the Scots in scoring with 19.2 points per game. He also averages 10.1 rebounds per game. Jeremy Evans averages 13.4 points per game while Isaiah Johnson adds 9.5 points per game.
 
The Series
Edinboro was 2-0 against CUNY this season. The first meeting of the season was a 59-45 win on Nov. 23. In the most recent meeting on Jan. 17, the Scots scored a 65-58 victory.
