Erie, Pa. – In the Edinboro men's tennis home opener the Fighting Scots fell to LeMoyne College 1-6, on Saturday afternoon at Westwood Racquet Club. 

In Edinboro's first home match of the season, they were overtaken by the Dolphins of LeMoyne College. For Edinboro, Ruben Acuna was the highlight of the afternoon. Acuna defeated Jared Howard 6-7, 6-2, 10-4, in singles play, as it was the lone victory for the Scots. 

Bruno Sabio was defeated by Tom Jarry 4-6, 4-6. 

Gustavo Martins fell to Manuel Righi 2-6, 5-7. 

Thibault Dorval was defeated by Peter Hatton 3-6, 2-6. 

Kaio Sacchi fell to Kacper Piekarek 3-6, 1-6. 

Maksymilian Braziewicz was defeated by Ethan Miller, 4-6, 2-6. 

In Doubles play Sabio and Rocco Palombarini fell 4-6, to Jarry and Miller. The duo of Braziewicz and Dorval came up short to Righi and Hatton 4-6. Finally, the team of Martins and Sacchi were defeated by Howard and Felipe Cruz 1-6. 

Edinboro will be back in action next Friday in Canton, Ohio.
