Edinboro, Pa – The Edinboro men's Tennis team will host the University of Charleston on Friday at 11 a.m. and West Virginia State University on Saturday at 3 p.m.
Last Time Out
In Edinboro's first home match of the season, they were overtaken by the Dolphins of LeMoyne College. For Edinboro, Ruben Acuna was the highlight of the afternoon. Acuna defeated Jared Howard 6-7, 6-2, 10-4, in singles play, as it was the lone victory for the Scots.
Edinboro will look to bounce back this weekend and grab their first win of the spring season with two Atlantic Regional teams coming to town.
University of Charleston Scouting Report
The University of Charleston (UC) is a member of the Mountain East Conference (MEC). UC kicked off its spring season by hosting the UC Invitational. Since then, they have collected wins against Lincoln Memorial University and Tusculum University. In their 5-2, victory over Tusculum University, Drew Dagostine highlighted the match with outstanding effort in both singles and doubles.
West Virginia State University Scouting Report
West Virginia State University (WVSU) is also a member of the MEC conference. WVSU kicked off its spring season at the UC Invitational where they won a school record 11 matches. Alex Cottrell and Ryan Mullins showcased their talents with three wins each on the weekend.
