North Canton, Ohio – The Edinboro men's Tennis team will kick off the 2022 spring season with a match against host Walsh University on Saturday at 6 p.m.
Last Time Out
Edinboro last competed in the PSAC Men's Individual Tennis Championships back in October 2021, which was the conclusion of their compact fall season.
Edinboro's Bruno Sabio was crowned as Men's Singles Champion as he defeated Martinez of Millersville, 6-3, 6-4.
In doubles play, teammates Sabio and Rocco Palombarini fell in the championship match to Millersville University, 8-6.
Fall Atlantic Region Rankings
Ruben Acuna was the highest ranked Scot holding the number three spot. He was the highest ranked PSAC player.
Sabio ranked eighth, the second highest ranked player from the PSAC.
Gustavo Martins checked in at No. 15 while Kaio Sacchi earned the No. 17 ranking.
The doubles pair of Palombarini and Sabio were tabbed fifth in the region.
Walsh Scouting Report
Walsh University is a member of the G-MAC Conference and they recorded a (3-1) record in the 2021 fall season.
Jakob Riglewski and Blas Ruiz both were (4-0) in singles and (3-0) in doubles respectively, in the short fall season.
