Box Score (New/Sortable Format) North Canton, Ohio – In the Edinboro men's tennis season opener the Fighting Scots fell short to Walsh University 3-4, on Saturday afternoon.
In the first match of 2022, Edinboro's strong effort was highlighted by Ruben Acuna and Thibault Dorval who both recorded wins in singles play. In singles play Acuna out played Luis Hernandez of Walsh, 7-6, 6-2. Dorval came out on top over Pedro Campos, 6-3, 6-1.
In doubles play teammates of Dorval and Maksymilian Braziewicz were victorious over Campos and Drummond, 6-3. The duo of Gustavo Martins and Kaio Sacchi topped Campos and Arfaras, 6-2.
Edinboro will be back in action next Saturday when they host LeMoyne College at 1 p.m.
