Edinboro, Pa -- The Edinboro men's tennis team will host Bluefield State University in day two of the NCAA Atlantic Regional tournament. The winner will move on to Altamonte Springs, Florida for the championship rounds on May 18-22.

-Edinboro comes into the match with a (14-5) record and have won nine straight matches.
-The Scots kept their winning streak alive throughout the PSAC conference tournament, as Edinboro defeated Mercyhurst 4-3 in the championship.
-Edinboro's second consecutive PSAC title set them up for a bye in the first round of the NCAA Atlantic Regional tournament.
-Ruben Acuna leads the Scots in Singles play with a (17-1) record while winning his last eight in a row. Acuna was named PSAC West Men's Tennis Athlete of the Week back in March and remains one of the top players in the Atlantic Region.
-Acuna is followed by Thibault Dorval who was also recently selected as the PSAC Tennis Athlete of the Week. Dorval holds an (12-5) singles record on the season, and was unbeaten in conference play.
-The dominance doesn't stop there, Bruno Sabio and Gustavo Martins are both (13-5) in Singles. Sabio currently owns the longest winning streak on the team with nine straight victories.
-In doubles, the duo of Acuna and Kaio Sacchi are (13-2) on the season.
-Dorval and Maksymilian Braziewicz have also been dominant with their (12-3) record together.
Bluefield State Scouting Report
-Bluefield State kept their season alive with a 4-0 match victory over Fairmont State University on Monday afternoon.
-Big Blue will now face Edinboro in the postseason for the second consecutive year.
-Bluefield ended the Scot's playoff run in 2021, as the Big Blue defeated Edinboro 4-0.
