New Orleans -- The United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced the 2022 Division II Women's Track &Field All-Academic Team and Athletes Wednesday afternoon.

To be named an All-Academic Team, the cumulative GPA for the 2021-22 academic year must be higher than 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. Transfer students and/or graduate students are to include only grades earned at the current nominating institution.

The Edinboro women's track & field squad finished with a cumulative GPA of 3.49.

The Fighting Scots also had three individuals named All-Academic Athlete honors. Kylie Anicic, Kimberly Goerss and Lauren Jacobs were named  USTFCCA All-Academic Athletes.

All-Academic Athletes carry a minimum 3.25 GPA through the end of the semester of competition. They must have completed at least 24 semester hours as well as achieving an automatic or provisional qualifying mark in the indoor or outdoor season.
