Bernadette Zukina took first place in the 400-meter dash highlighting the Edinboro indoor track and field team finishing eighth at the PSAC Championships.
Zukina crossed the line in 57.83 grabbing the first spot.
Mackenzie Fletcher also ran the 400-meter finishing 11th in a time of 1:00.71.Â
Kadi Bauer posted a scoring time of 2:23.11 good for seventh.
Katie Slimon ran the 3K finishing 14th with a time of 11:01. 94.
Slimon also posted a time of 19:10.34 to finish in 13th in the 5K. Alexa ran the 5K in 19:30.94 to finish in 14th.Â
The quartet of
Madeline Newark,
Lauren Jacobs, Fletcher and Zukina placed third in the 4x400 relay with a time of 3:57.94.
Newark earned all-conference honors with a second-place finish in the high jump clearing 1.61 meters. Newark finished sixth in the pentathlon with a score of 3198.
In the long jump, Maddison Doren jumped 5.49 meters to take fourth while Fletcher was ninth with a jump of 5.39 meters.
Kenzie Lendon was on the podium in the shot put with a throw of 12.71 meters.
Anna Elder scored in the weight throw with a distance of 14.57 meters to finish in eighth. Lendon ws 12th with a throw of 13.94 meters.
