Ashland, Ohio – The Edinboro track & field teams competed at the Ashland Alumni Open in their final tune before the PSAC Championship meet.
Men's Results
Bobby Yost led the Edinboro effort finishing fourth in the javelin with a throw of 52.42 meters.
Aaron Myers posted a time of 1:57.58 in the 800-meter run good for eighth place.
A trio of Scots competed in the shot put led by a 29
th place finish from Trevor Neumann with a throw of 11.66 meters.
John Haeseler threw 11.22 meters to take 33
rd and
Kaden Velasquez was 35
th with a throw of 10.72 meters. All three also competed in the discus with Neumann recording a throw of 32.97 meters for 28
th. Velasquez was 29
th with a distance of 32.91 meters and Haeseler was 36
th with a toss of 29.9 meters.
Women's Results
Jocelyn Wilson finished first in the 5K with a time of 19.35.77.
Madeline Hammond was sixth in the 800-meter run with time of 2:26.08.
In the 200-meter dash,
Mackenzie Fletcher crossed the line in 25.57 to finish in eighth.
Madeline Newark was sixth in the 100-meter hurdles finishing in a time of 15.77.
Bailee Miara was 11
th in the 400-meter hurdles in a time of 1:09.23.
Mackenzie Fletcher rounded out the track results with a time of 12.41 in the 100-meter dash.
On the field side, Fletcher covered 5.47 meters in the long jump to finish fourth. Newark was 11
th with a jump of 5.16 meters and Maddison Doren jumped 5.13 meters to take 13
th. In the javelin,
Eden Rush was third with a throw of 39.43 meters.
Hannah Cox added a ninth-place finish with a distance of 32.03 meters.
Kenzie Lendon was 12
th in the hammer throw with a toss of 44.98 meters. Lendon also threw the shot finishing 18
th with a distance of 11.61 meters.
Anna Elder threw the shot 10.94 meters to take 26
th. Elder added a 20
th-place finish in the discus with a throw of 35.59 meters.
