Youngstown, Ohio -- The Edinboro track & field squad was back at Youngstown State for the YSU Mid-Major Invitational on Friday and Saturday.
Kate Szep was fourth in the 3K running a time of 10:25.81.
Anna Elder also placed fourth in the weight throw with a PSAC qualifying throw of 15.88 meters.Â
Madeline Newark cleared 1.62 meters on the high jump to place sixth. In other field action, Elder was 10th in the shot put with a throw of 10.66 meters.
Jillian Kline was 29th in weight throw with a distance of 9.51 meters and 42nd in the shot put with a toss of 7.47 meters. Maddison Doren turned in a long jump of 5.26 meters to place 13th while
Mackenzie Fletcher was 19th iwth a jump of 4.95 meters.
In the 60-meter dash,
Bernadette Zukina crossed the line in 8.00 to take 11th while
Kaci Smith was 61st in a time of 9.69. Zukina also rank the 200 meter placing 19th in a time of 26.19.
Jacey Cihak was 11th in the 500 meter crossing the line in 1:32.07. Cihak was 40th int he 400 meter with a time of 1:09.14.
The Scots are back in action on Friday with trip to the Judd Logan Light Giver Memorial in Ashland, Ohio.
