Shippensburg, Pa. – The Edinboro men's track & field team returned to action on Friday and Saturday at the Paul Kaiser Classic on Friday and Saturday.
Avon Rouse was 15
th in the 200-meter with a time of 22.80. Rouse also got ran in the 400-meter posting a time of 49.63 to take eighth.
In the 800-meter,
Aivan Vargas checked in at 13
th with a time of 1:58.32. Ethan Quezada crossed the line in 1:58.55 to place 15
th.
Coleton Fisher was 34
th with a time of 2:01.88.
Garrett Bartlebaugh came in at 2:02.17 to place 36
th.
Isaiah Sanchez was 43
rd with a time of 2:04.25 and
Aaron Myers rounded out the Scot competitors in the 800 with a time of 2:07.79 to earn 57
th.
Ackerly Mulcaster ran the 1,500 in 16:39.14 to place 24
th.
PJ Berger was 11
th in the 3K Steeplechase with a time of 10:35.42.
In the 110 hurdles,
Hayden Skinner was fourth in a time of 15.40.
Connor Munson was right behind him with a time of 15.64 to place fifth. Skinner also competed in the 400 hurdles taking sixth in 59.83. Munson placed seventh in the pole vault clearing 4.50 meters to place seventh.
Landon Chalmers placed sixth in the discus throwing 46.44 meters.
Kaden Velasquez was 25
th with a throw of 36.14 meters.
Trevor Neumann was 27
th with a throw of 34.74 meters. Velasquez tossed the hammer 32.34 meters to place 29
th. In the javelin,
Bobby Yost recorded a throw of 51.50 meters good for 12
th. Chalmers rounded out the throwing events taking 19
th in the shot put with a throw of 12.4 meters.
The Scots will have one more tune up ahead of the meet next weekend at the Slippery Rock Last Chance before competing at the PSAC Championships.
