Slippery Rock, Pa. – The Edinboro men's track & field team closed out the regular season at the Slippery Rock last chance on Friday.
Edinboro had six competitors in the 800-meter run led by a time of 1:56.64 from
Aivan Vargas to take first. Ethan Quezada was second with a time of 1:57.06.
Aaron Myers crossed the line in 1:58.23 placing fourth and
Garrett Bartlebaugh was sixth in a time of 1:58.74.
Coleton Fisher was ninth in a time of 2:00.88 and
Isaiah Sanchez was 11
th in 2:02.06.
Avon Rouse ran a 50.79 in the 400-meter dash to take seventh. In the 1,500-meter
Ackerly Mulcaster was fifth with a time of 4:23.63.
PJ Berger won the 3K steeplechase finishing in a time of 10:39.44.
Landon Chalmers tossed the shot put 14.30 meters to take eighth while
Connor Munson was 13
th with a distance of 11.90 meters.
Munson also threw the discus recording a throw of 41.39 meters to place eighth.
Trevor Neumann was 10
th with a throw of 36.27 meters and
Kaden Velasquez threw 34.18 meters taking 12
th.
Bobby Yost was third in the javelin with a distance of 52.25 meters. Munson was 10
th in the javelin with a throw of 37.30 meters. Neumann and Velazquez also competed in the hammer. Neumann was 11
th with a throw of 37.05 meters while Velasquez was 13
th with a distance of 31.45 meters.
The Scots return to Slippery Rock on Thursday for the first day of the PSAC Championship Meet.
