Connor Munson set a pair of school records as the Edinboro men's track & field team continued action at the PSAC Championship Meet.
Munson set the decathlon record with a final score of 7011. On his way there, he placed first in the decathlon pole vault clearing 4.75 meters setting another Edinboro record in the process. Munson was also first among decathletes in the discus with a throw of 39.35 meters.
Ethan Quezada entered the 800-meter seeded 19
th, but his second-place finish in the second heat in a time of 1:56.25 pushed him into Saturday's final.
Aivan Vargas also ran the 800 crossing the line in 1:57.06.
Landon Chalmers finished 10
th in the discus with a throw of 44.69 meters.
Avon Rouse just missed Saturday's final finishing ninth in a time of 49.277 seconds just .02 of a second off the final spot.
The Scots wrap up PSAC Championship action on Saturday in Slippery Rock.
