Edinboro, Pa. – After a nearly 30-year hiatus, Edinboro Athletics will compete in men's indoor track and field beginning immediately in the spring 2026 semester.
"This is huge for our program not just our current athletes but our future athletes as we continue to grow the program," said Director of Track and Field and Cross Country
Jamison Dietrich. "This doubles the competition opportunities. We can be great in cross country, great in outdoor and now we can be great in indoor."
Edinboro has a roster with more than 70 athletes and is set to grow again in 2026-2027. The Scots will begin competition on January 24 at the Spire Indoor Games. Edinboro will be eligible for the PSAC Indoor Championships.
"We would like to give a massive thank you to
Dr. Katherine Robbins and Dr. Jon Anderson," said Dietrich. "They have seen the vision for our program and have been helping us continue to grow it."
