Indiana, Pa. – The Edinboro women's basketball team is back in action on Friday when they take on Gannon in the opening round of the NCAA Atlantic Regional inside the Kovalchick Convention and Athletic Complex.
The Game
The Scots and Golden Knights play in the second game of the day with tip off slated for 2:30 p.m. Fans that are going to the game can purchase tickets at
IUPTix.com. The game will be
broadcast on the NCAA.com and IUP Athletics will provide

The Season Series
Edinboro and Gannon have met twice this season with the teams each winning on the road. The Golden Knights scored a 63-56 overtime victory on Jan. 7. The Scots won the most recent meeting 50-47 on Feb. 11 in Erie.
All-Conference Performers
The Edinboro post duo of
Rachael Manfredo and
Ava Haddad earned All-PSAC West honors as voted on by the league's coaches.
Manfredo was a first-team selection averaging 16.9 points per game while also shooting 53.8 percent from the field the 28
th best mark in the nation. She also averaged 5.6 rebounds per game. She led the Scots with 39 blocked shots. Haddad earned second team honors. She was Edinboro's second leading scorer at 12.7 points per game and sot 53.7 percent from the field good for 29
th nationally. She pulled down 5.2 rebounds per game and blocked 24 shots.
Return to the Regional
Edinboro makes their second consecutive trip to the NCAA Atlantic Regional after hosting the Atlantic Regional a year ago. The last time the Scots and Golden Knights met in the NCAA postseason was March 15, 2014. Edinboro won 77-69 in the Regional Semifinal.
Statistical Leaders
Three Fighting Scots are averaging double figure scoring led by Manfredo at 17.0 points per game. Haddad adds 12.5 and
Taylor Blunt chips in 11.2. Manfredo is the leading rebounder at 5.7 boards per game. Haddad adds 5.3 rebounds per contest.
