Indianapolis -- The Edinboro women's basketball team earned an at-large bid and the No. 7 seed in the NCAA Atlantic Regional annouced by the NCAA Sunday night.

The Scots are 19-13 overall and reached the semifinals of the PSAC tournament. The Scots played a daunting schedule that included wins over three of the other selections to the NCAA Atlantic Regional.

Edinboro will open the regional against No. 2 seed Gannon on Friday. All games are hosted by IUP at the KCAC. Times are still to be announced.
