SOUTH EUCLID, Oh. – Tabitha Meeks and Maria Concheck had big days for Edinboro as they split at a tri-match held at Notre Dame College (Oh.).
 
Meeks totaled 23 kills and Concheck amassed 24 for the Fighting Scots (2-9).  Freshman Marah Maycock continued her success as she finished with 17 kills and 28 digs.  Megan Branchick notched 16 digs and five blocks for Edinboro. 
 
Edinboro jumped out to a 25-14 set one victory against Le Moyne (9-2), but were tripped up in sets two and three 25-11 and 25-16.  The Fighting Scots were able to take the fourth set in overtime 27-25, but could not finish the Dolphins as they fell 16-14 in the fifth and final set.
 
The Fighting Scots then took on home-standing Notre Dame (Oh.) (2-9) and took the first two sets 25-19 and 25 20.  Notre Dame battled back to take the fourth set 25-19, but Edinboro finished off the Falcons 25-19, winning the match 3-1. 
 
Defensively, Edinboro had a 49-dig performance put in by Haley Marett.  Erin Schatzle had 23 digs and 32 assists and Katie Felix had 20 digs to go along with her 44 assists. 
 
The Fighting Scots travel to Lock Haven this Friday to take on Lock Haven and Millersville, then they're off to East Stroudsburg Saturday to face East Stroudsburg and Shippensburg.
