Balanced Attack Leads Edinboro in Shutout of Alderson-Broaddus

Box Score (New/Sortable Format) PHILLIPI, WV – Edinboro women's lacrosse scored 16 goals for the second straight game, defeating Alderson-Broaddus College 16-0 this afternoon.  With the win, the Fighting Scots improve to 2-1 on the season.

It was a balanced offensive attack for Edinboro, with Anna Purdy, Rebecca Zajac, and Shelby Will each scoring three goals with Will adding an assist. 

Autumn Held was credited with the win in goal, shutting out the Battlers.

Jenny Wirth and Katie Magee netted two goals apiece.  Magee added an assist as well. 

Rounding out the scoring for Edinboro was Rebecca Martin, Hannah Mong, and Stephanie Niell as the each scored a goal.
Alexandria DeReamer led Edinboro with two assists. 

Edinboro will travel further south into North Carolina to take on Catawba College and Lees-McRae College next Friday and Saturday, March 22-23.
