STORYLINEEdinboro travels to Clarion in its second to last game of the regular season. The Fighting Scots are 17-7 overall and 14-6 in the PSAC West following a 91-81 loss to No. 13 Indiana (Pa.) on Saturday. The Golden Eagles have lost four games in a row and rank at the bottom of the PSAC West with a 2-22 record and 1-18 in the division. Clarion's most recent outing was a 70-50 loss at Mercyhurst on Saturday. Edinboro won the first meeting between the two in a tighter-than-anticipated game. The Scots squeezed out a 64-59 victory at McComb Fieldhouse to hold off Clarion, their 10th victory in the last 11 meetings in the series. The Golden Eagles are without two-sport star Hannah Heeter, who is out for the remainder of the season with a leg injury after playing in eight contests.
Laurel Lindsay reached another historic mark in the Fighting Scots' last game as she became the third player in PSAC history to record 1,000 points (1,113), 500 rebounds (512), and 500 assists (504) for her career.

Laurel Lindsay became first player in school history with 1,000 career points (1,113), 500 career rebounds (512), and 500 (504) career assists. The graduate student guard/forward is just the third player in PSAC history to do so, joining the likes of Vickie Mikesic of Shippensburg and Mashira Newman of Millersville. Former Edinboro player Pam Artman neared that mark, finishing her career with 1,021 points, 496 rebounds, and 500 assists. Lindsay became just the 29th player in Edinboro school history to reach 1,000 career points when she made the first of two free throw attempts on January 10 at Gannon with 5:50 remaining in the game. The graduate student guard/forward has since moved into 23rd place in school history with 1,113 career points. She ranks first in the PSAC and third in the nation in assists per game this year (7.1/gm). She has dished out 171 assists this season which currently is tied for seventh in school history for a single season. Lindsay ranks second in career assists with 504 helpers throughout her career. Valerie Majewski missed the first five games due to injury. The Fighting Scots are 14-5 since the 2014 WBCA All-American has returned to the court. The senior guard scored a season-high 23 points for the Scots last Wednesday versus Slippery Rock. Majewski is third for Edinboro in scoring (12.7 ppg.), second in steals (39), and second in assists (58). Edinboro has significantly cut down on its turnovers since Majewski returned to the line-up. The Scots are committing 14.7 turnovers per game with the senior guard in the lineup and 20 turnovers per game without her.

• Edinboro is second in Division II in 3-point shooting percentage, shooting 39.8 percent on 3-pointers. The Fighting Scots finished last season second in Division II from beyond the arc connecting on 39.1 percent of their 3-point attempts.
Lauren Hippo ranks atop the team in 3-point percentage. The school's all-time leader in 3-point percentage (45.1 percent) has made 59-of-132 (44.7 percent) of her 3-point attempts. The junior guard ranks second in the PSAC in 3-point percentage and 12th in the nation.
Valerie Majewski also ranks in the top 20 in the nation in 3-point shooting percentage. The senior guard has shot 43.8 percent (39-for-89) on 3-pointers ranking third in the PSAC and 15th in Division II. One other Edinboro player with double-digit 3-point attempts is shooting 40 percent on 3-pointers.
Laurel Lindsay is shooting 40.0 percent, making 34-of-85 from beyond the arc. The Fighting Scots have made 40 percent-or-more of their 3-point attempts in 14 of their 24 games. Last season, the Scots made a program-record 200 3-pointers, topping the old mark held by the 2001-02 team that made 193 3-pointers. Edinboro has made 170 3-pointers this season.
SCOUTING CLARION• Clarion has lost its last four games in a row and has gone 1-19 in its last 20 outings.

• The Golden Eagles have been forced to play its last 16 games without forward Hannah Heeter. The senior two-sport standout was averaging 14.1 ppg. and 11.6 rpg. before being sidelined due to a leg injury. Heeter, who is also an accomplished volleyball player, is the only female athlete in the history of the PSAC to be a four-time PSAC Top 10 Award winner without participating in Track & Field or Cross Country.

• Tania Holmes leads Clarion in scoring. The junior guard is averaging 15.4 ppg. Since failing to score against Shippensburg on January 7, Holmes has scored in double figures in all but one contest, including 31 points against Pitt-Johnstown on January 28.
