EDINBORO QUICK THREE
Nicole Johnson tied her career-high with 12 points including the game-winner last Wednesday against Gannon. She pulled down a career-high 11 rebounds against Lock Haven on January 7. Johnson is third for the Fighting Scots in rebounding at 4.5 rpg. as she has primarily been the fifth starter in the Edinboro line-up. The sophomore forward reached a career-high in rebounds at 95. Johnson is six points away from matching her season total as a freshman (96 points).

Aignee' Freeland has shined in Edinboro's 15 wins this season. In Edinboro victories, Freeland shoots 95-for-172 (55.2 percent) and averages 14.7 ppg. and 8.5 rpg. The junior forward/center has shot 31-for-68 (45.6 percent) in losses while averaging 8.8 ppg. and 4.4 rpg. Her 23-point performance at California (Pa.) marked the first time in her career she has scored 20-or-more in three straight games. The 6'3" post player scored 20 points versus Seton Hill after finishing with 29 points at Pitt-Johnstown prior to that. It was the 13th time in Freeland's career she has scored 20-or-more points. Freeland is nearing 1,000 career points. The York, Pa. native has 973 career points, leaving her 27 points away from reaching that mark.

• Laurel Lindsay is on the verge of becoming the first player in school history with 1,000 career points, 500 career rebounds, and 500 career assists. The graduate student guard/forward would be just the third player in PSAC history to do so. Lindsay needs just 20 assists to reach that goal. Former Edinboro player Pam Artman neared that mark, finishing her career with 1,021 pts., 500 rebs., and 496 asts.

SCOUTING MERCYHURST
• Mercyhurst has lost three straight games and now begin a crucial three-game stretch. The Lakers hosts Edinboro at home before welcoming No. 5 Indiana (Pa.) and then Clarion. The Lakers are a game behind Seton Hill for the sixth and final spot from the PSAC West. The Lakers lost 70-68 to the Griffins earlier this year but close the season with an away game at Seton Hill.

• The Lakers rank fourth in the PSAC in field goal percentage shooting 42.8 percent. They rank 14th in turnover margin (-2.2) and last in steals per game (6.0 stl/gm).

• Natalie Piaggesi leads Mercyhurst in scoring (14.6 ppg.) and rebounding (7.2 rpg.). The sophomore forward has scored in double figures in six straight games and 18 of the last 19 games. She ranks ninth in the PSAC in scoring and 18th in rebounding.
