The Fighting Scots made their return to the D2SIDA Atlantic Region poll this week, appearing in ninth place.
  • The Fighting Scots are looking to start 5-0 in conference play for the first time since the 2011-12 season. The Fighting Scots finished that season 30-2 overall and 21-1 in the conference, as well as capturing the PSAC Championship and advancing to the NCAA Atlantic Regional Championship.
  • Edinboro has won 11 straight home games in the friendly confines of McComb Fieldhouse, dating back to last season. The Fighting Scots are 4-0 at home this year after amassing a 64-11 home record over the past five seasons. LAST TIME OUT
Edinboro: December 4, 2016 – Edinboro 75, West Chester 57 (RECAP / BOX SCORE)
  • Thanks in part to a scorching start from Michelle Jahn, the Fighting Scots cruised to a 75-57 victory over West Chester. Jahn connected on a career-high six 3-pointers in just the first ten minutes of play to give Edinboro a 21-14 lead at the end of one quarter.
  • West Chester never pulled within five points the rest of the way as the Fighting Scots concluded the first half on a 9-2 run to take a 40-28 lead.
  • Jahn finished with 27 points, one shy of her career-high, and made 7-of-8 3-pointers. Ciara Rosten and Michaela Barnes added 10 points apiece. Katie Fischer was held to a season-low six points while battling foul trouble, but dished out seven assists and picked up a pair of steals.
  • The Fighting Scots forced 26 West Chester turnovers that led to 30 points and held the Golden Rams' leading scorer, Madison Torresin, to just eight points.

Cheyney: December 4, 2016 – Slippery Rock 55, Cheyney 45 (RECAP / BOX SCORE)
  • The Wolves jumped out to a 14-7 first quarter lead and led 26-20 at half at Slippery Rock before a disastrous start to the third quarter gave The Rock the lead for good.
  • Slippery Rock opened the second half on a 27-5 as the Wolves missed six of their first seven shots and turned the ball over four times in a span of six minutes to begin the third quarter.
  • TaKayla Ellis led the Wolves with 11 points while Marlon Herring added nine. Adriene Small finished as Cheyney's leading rebounder with eight boards to go along with her ix points.
