EDINBORO, Pa. (April 8, 2016) – Seven Edinboro women's lacrosse players will be honored as part of senior day on Sunday, April 10, when the Fighting Scots host Millersville in a PSAC contest at 1:00 p.m. at Sox Harrison Stadium. Edinboro resumes its conference season after defeating Wheeling Jesuit, 11-8, on Tuesday to stand at 6-6 with a 1-6 PSAC record. The Marauders are 7-5 overall with a 4-4 PSAC record.
The Fighting Scots will recognize

Cydney Hrycko,
Rebecca Martin,
Hannah Mong,
Britney Myers,
Anna Purdy and
Mackenzie Waterston prior to the match. The contest was originally scheduled for Saturday, but was pushed back a day due to the forecast calling for inclement weather.
Edinboro looks to get back in the PSAC win column after suffering four straight conference defeats, including losses against Lock Haven and Mercyhurst, who were ranked sixth and seventh, respectively, by the IWLCA. They snapped a four-game losing streak with the win over Wheeling Jesuit. The Fighting Scots earned their lone conference victory with a 15-13 win at 18
th-ranked Seton Hill on March 23, their first-ever win over a ranked opponent.
Martin leads Edinboro with 47 points on 21 goals and 26 assists. She is the all-time career points and assists leader, tallying her 200
th career point at Wheeling Jesuit. She has 72 goals and 128 assists, ranking seventh all-time in career goals. Purdy is second on the team with 44 points on 24 goals and 20 assists, while Hrycko leads the team with 31 goals.
Sophomore goalkeeper
Paige Skinner is 5-6 on the year, leading the PSAC in saves per game (9.67) and ranking second in save percentage (.523).
Millersville comes to Edinboro winners of two of their last three contests. The Marauders posted PSAC victories over Shippensburg and Kutztown, with a 16-10 loss to Mercyhurst coming in between those contests. Edinboro owns a 3-2 lead in the all-time series, including an 11-10 win a year ago.
Bridget Hufnagel leads the Marauders and ranks fourth in the PSAC with 52 points on 37 goals and 15 assists. Sabrina Fusco, the 2015 PSAC Freshman of the Year, is second on the team with 47 points on 36 goals and 11 assists. Bryana Weston-Wyatt has started all 12 contests in goal, owning a .436 save percentage and a 10.99 goals against average.
