Box Score (New/Sortable Format) 2 WICHITA FALLS, Kans. – The Edinboro wheelchair basketball team split a pair of games on the first day of the Wichita State Tournament to improve to 9-8 on the season. Head coach
Jim Glatch's team opened the day with a 64-61 win over Southwest Minnesota State before falling to Texas-Arlington in the second game.

EDINBORO 64, SOUTHWEST MINNESOTA STATE 61
The Fighting Scots picked up their second straight win over SMSU, 64-61 to open the Wichita State Tournament. Edinboro beat the Mustangs in the final game of the Missouri Tournament before the holiday break, 60-47. Fresh off their return from Team USA tryouts, the trio of
Chayse Wolf,
Will Speed and
Kevin Atherley all scored in double figures for the Fighting Scots. Wolf nearly recorded a triple double as he tallied 19 points, nine rebounds, and nine assists. Atherley finished with 16 points and eight rebounds while Speed had 10 points. Edinboro led 31-28 at the half.
TEXAS-ARLINGTON 63, EDINBORO 52
Chayse Wolf scored a game-high 17 points as the Edinboro wheelchair basketball team fell to the Mavericks of Texas-Arlington, 63-52. Wolf averaged 18 points on the day to lead the Fighting Scots.
Kevin Atherley was right behind him with 15 points to average 15.5 points in the first day of the tournament.
Ayuba Alli chipped in with seven points while
Alex Saleh added five. The Fighting Scots trailed by only two points at the half, but the Mavericks pulled away early in the second half to secure the win.
