EDINBORO, Pa. – The Edinboro wheelchair basketball team will host the CID Tournament in their final home games of the 2017-18 season. Along with the Fighting Scots, three other teams will particpate in the tournament Friday, January 26 and Saturday, January 27. Illinois, Wisconsin-Whitewater, and Cleveland will play in the round-robin style tournament.
Edinboro will take on Fighting Illini of Illinois in the opening game on Friday at 12 noon and will have a game break before facing the Warhawks of Wisconsin-Whitewater at 4:00 p.m. Head coach
Jim Glatch's team will start Saturday in a second game against Illinois at 12 noon and finish the tournament with a game against Cleveland at 2:00 p.m.
Edinboro is 10-9 on the season and won the Boro Shootout to open the season.
Chayse Wolf leads the team in scoring average (13.1), and free-throw percentage (.568) with
Alex Saleh leading the squad in field goal percentage (.613).
Kevin Atherley ranks first for Edinboro in rebounds (183), steals (46), and blocks (9).
Ayuba Alli sits atop the team in assists with 98.
