Wolf Leads Iron-Man Fighting Scots at Auburn Tournament

AUBURN, Ala. – An iron-man Edinboro wheelchair basketball team with just five healthy players ran out of steam on Saturday while playing two games for the second straight day in the Auburn Tournament. The short-handed Fighting Scots dropped a 52-36 decision to Missouri, and wrapped up their fourth game in just over 24 hours with a 67-24 loss to Texas-Arlington.

The Fighting Scots would outscore the Tigers, 23-19, in the second half, but they were unable to overcome a 33-13 halftime deficit. Missouri shot a sizzling 59.3 percent (16-of-27) in the first half, while the Scots made 6-of-20 shots. Chayse Wolf and Josiah Knight accounted for 30 of Edinboro's 36 points. Wolf led the way with 18 points, adding seven rebounds, four assists, and three steals. Knight added 12 points and a team-high eight boards. Will speed had four rebounds and four assists. 
 
TEXAS-ARLINGTON 67, EDINBORO 24
Chayse Wolf would end the day with a double-double, totaling 14 points and 10 rebounds.
