Edinboro, Pa. – The Edinboro women's basketball team returns to the court Wednesday when they play host to Davis & Elkins College inside McComb Fieldhouse. Tipoff is slated for 5:30 p.m.
Last Time Out
The Fighting Scots won their season opener 72-60 over Bluefield State Friday afternoon at McComb Fieldhouse.
Haley Sims turned in a strong all-around performance with a game-high 24 points to go with five assists, four rebounds and a block.
Gillian Fisher added a double-double with 12 points and 11 rebounds. Ashton Boggs also netted 12 points as well as pulling down six rebounds.
Honoring Barnes
Prior to Wednesday's contest, the Scots will honor all-time leading scorer Michaela Barnes with the unveiling of her now retired No. 2 jersey.
Scouting the Senators
Davis & Elkins brings a 1-1 overall record and coming off a 76-57 victory over Pitt-Johnstown on Saturday. The Senators average 68.5 points per game while allowing 73.5.
Dream Cherry leads the offense with 17.0 points per game. Marissa Berlin averages 14.0 points and 14 boards per contest. Allie Taylor also nets 14.0 points per contest.
