Lock Haven, Pa. – The Edinboro women's basketball team returns to action for the first time since Nov. 20 with a PSAC crossover weekend with visits to Lock Haven and Mansfield.
 
Last Time Out
The Fighting Scots dropped their last contest 90-32 to Walsh. Rana Elhusseini led Edinboro with 12 points to go with three rebounds and two assists.
 
Youth Movement
A trio of freshmen lead the Scots in scoring. Hayley Sims is Edinboro's leading scorer averaging 16 points a game while pulling down 4.0 rebounds. Ashten Boggs adds 12.0 points per contest as well as grabbing 6.3 boards.
 
Macie Jarrett adds 7.0 points and 2.3 rebounds. Edinboro's top rebounder, Gillian Fisher, averages 6.7 per game and is also in her first collegiate season.
 
Winning the Turnover Battle
The Scots are 2-1 on the season and are +11 in their two wins and in their lone loss are a -23 in the turnover department.
 
Scouting Lock Haven
The Bald Eagles are 3-0 on the season coming off a 66-62 victory over Tiffin on Nov. 21. Brooke Lawyer is the leading scorer with 16.0 points per game. Taylor Leidy adds 14.5 points per contest.
 
Two other Bald Eagles average double-figure scoring in Ahnera Parker (11.7) and Nadia Romancock (10.5).
 
Scouting Mansfield
The Mounties are 1-3 on the season after a 57-43 loss at Frostburg State on Monday. Paige Whitfield leads Mansfield in scoring with 14.0 points per game. Jasmine Hilton adds 10.0 points per contests.
