Edinboro, Pa. – The Fighting Scots enter their penultimate home game of the season coming off the back of a 2-0 win over D'Youville. They welcome the Crimson Hawks of IUP who are unbeaten in their last three games, with one win and two ties. Edinboro are looking to end their season strong, a win would see them come within a point of IUP in the PSAC West standings.

- Edinboro picked up their second win of the season away at D'Youville on Saturday afternoon in a 2-0 win.
- Maggie Hays opened the scoring in the second half with her first goal of the season, with a terrific strike from outside the penalty area into the top right corner.
- Megan Malits double the Scots lead with similar effort into the top right corner of the goal. Jenna Jackson recorded her first assist of the season with some smart play to find Malits out wide. Malits has now scored three goals this season to tie Reece Enochs at the top of the scoring charts for Edinboro.
- Kaylee Lauriel got her fourth shutout of the season, with thanks to the defensive efforts of the team. Lauriel didn't have to make a save against D'Youville with them having two attempts off target.
- Edinboro currently have eight points in the PSAC West standing with IUP just above with 12 points.
- A strong second half by IUP in their previous meeting this season saw IUP take the win. Devin Keidel scored for Edinboro late on but it was not enough on the day.
IUP Crimson Hawks
- IUP enter the game on a three game unbeaten streak. Their last win also came against D'Youville in a 2-0 win, followed by two 1-1 ties with Slippery Rock and Clarion.
- In their tie with Slippery Rock the Hawks had to come from a goal down to salvage a point late on. Kristen Finnerty scored in the 86th minute bagging her third goal of the season.
- Similarly in their matchup with Clarion, IUP came from a goal down to earn a point. This time Hannah Scardina replied quickly in the 30th minute to tie the game, this was Scardina's sixth goal this season.
- IUP were the more threatening team in the match with Clarion, having 14 attempts to Clarion's five.
- Hannah Scardina is the lead scorer for the Crimson Hawks with six goals, also contributing with one assist for 13 points in total.
- Aislinn Meaney is tied on points with Scardina, tallying four goals and five assists.
- Samantha Gildner has played in goal for nine games this season, with one shutout this season.
- IUP have scored 17 goals this season with their opponents scoring 16 in total. On average, IUP have 10.7 attempts per game whilst allowing 9.6.
- The goal scorers last time against Edinboro were Hannah Scardina and Kristen Finnerty who had a brace.
