Edinboro, Pa.-- The Edinboro volleyball team was considered amongst the ten best in the Atlantic Region, as it was announced by the NCAA on Thursday morning. No official rankings will be released until next week as the Fighting Scots bring the 2022 regular season to a close.  

Edinboro currently sits at (17-7) overall and (7-5) in conference play. The Fighting Scots have four matches remaining on their regular season schedule, including their two final home matches this weekend against Cal and Seton Hill. 

This season the Fighting Scots have been led by their vets in Bella Burrelli and Alicia Eldredge who are both top ten players in their position. Burrelli leads the team in kills with 250, and Eldredge owns a team-high 711 assists. 

Out of the ten teams in contention for the Atlantic Regional rankings, half of the spots are held by teams out of the PSAC conference (Edinboro, Clarion, Gannon, IUP, and Shepherd).
