Wheelchair Basketball Makes the Trip to Michigan

Ann Arbor, Mich. -- The Edinboro wheelchair basketball team is set for four games against the University of Michigan on Saturday and Sunday.

Last Time Out
The Scots posted a 4-1 record at the Boro Shootout including a victory over Michigan in the finale of the tournament. They averaged 47.6 points and 36.4 rebounds per contest.

"I was very pleased with our performance at teh Boro Shootout," said head coach Jim Glatch. "Not only did we accomplish a lot of our goals going into the weekend, but we showed the kind of growth that we needed to see in the start of the season.

Top Performers
Jeremy Evans was the Scots leading scorer last weekend going for 17.8 points per game. Isaiah Johnson chipped in 8.8 points per contest.

New Faces
"We got veteran performances from Jeremy, Isaiah and Elijah, but our freshman rotated stepping up to fill the gaps," Glatch said. "Now we need to take those efforts and build consistency in those performances."

Jeffrey Kurtz posted 7.6 points and 2.8 rebounds while Dakari Moore adds 4.0 points and 4.2 rebounds.

Familiar Foe
The Scots will see a familiar opponent in the University of Michigan who they played in the final game of the Boro Shootout.

"This is a great experience for our players to get a few games on the road, in different venues and work through some new lineups." Glatch said.
