Ann Arbor, Mich. -- The Edinboro wheelchair basketball team went 4-0 against the University of MIchigan on the road Saturday and Sunday.
In the opener, the Scots jumped out early building a 30-13 halftime lead and never looked back earning a 55-41 victory.
Jeremy Evans netted a game-high 25 points on 10-of-15 shooting while grabbing eight rebounds.
Isaiah Johnson also scored in double figures with 10 points while dishing out a game-high six helpers.
In the second half of the Saturday doubleheader, the Edinboro defense was once again on display as they held the Wolverines to just 13 points in the first half again. This time the Scots carried a 28-13 edge into the locker room. MIchigan only had one double-digit quarter which was the fourth where the scored 11. Edinboro would go on to win 44-31.
Evans was the lone Scot to score in double figures with 14 points and he also added six assists. Dakari Moore led Edinboro with six rebounds.
On Sunday, the venue shifted to Oakland University but the opponent and the result remained the same. In the opener, the Scots battled and held off the Wolverines winning 50-47. Evans recorded his first double-double of the year going for 18 points and 10 assists while also grabbing seven boards. Johnson chipped in 15 points while
Jeffrey Kurtz tallied 10.
Elijah Yoder pulled down six rebounds and picked up four assists.
In the finale, Edinboro used a huge third quarter in which they outscored the Wolverines 22-6 to pull away and earn the 47-36 victory. Evans once again stuffed the stat sheet going for 15 points, eight rebounds and five assists. Kurtz was next in line with 14 points and five rebounds.
The Scots are back in action on Dec. 2 when they travel to the Wisconsin-Whitewater Tournament.
