Whitewater, Wisc. -- The Edinboro wheelchair basketball team dropped four games against top competition at the Wisconsin-Whitewater Invitational Friday and Saturday.
In the opener, the Scots dropped a 67-18 decision to University of Texas-Arlington. The Scots were led by eight points from
Jeremy Evans and four from
Isaiah Johnson. Edinboro found themselves on the wrong side of the rebounding battle 43-17. Ido Shkri paced the Movin' Mavs with 21 points.
In the second game on Friday, Edinboro dropped a 74-15 game to Illinois. Evans again led the Scots in scoring with nine points. Jon McNamara was the leading scorer for the Fighting Illini with 20 points.Â
On Saturday,
Jeremy Evans scored 12 points to lead the Scots in a 69-22 decision against host Wisconsin-Whitewater.
Jeffrey Kurtz chipped in four points for the Scots. AJ Fitzpatrick led the Warhawks with 33 points.Â
In the second game,Â
Isaiah Johnson paced the Fighting Scots with 12 points as Edinboro dropped a 68-30 matchup withthe University of Alabama. Evans added six points. Timothy Houston scored 34 to lead Crimson Tide.
The Scots are back in action on Dec. 17 & 18 when they travel to Auburn for a four game set.Â
